Care Instructions
1. General Care
Our tactile cement objects are crafted to last a lifetime, but they require a little love and attention. Because cement is a naturally porous material, each piece has been sealed with a careful mixture to protect its finish.
2. Cleaning
To clean your pieces, simply wipe them gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive sponges, or submerging the objects entirely in water, as this can degrade the protective sealant over time.
3. Use with Water
While our sealed vessels can hold water for short periods (like for flower arrangements), they are not intended to sit with stagnant water for extended periods of time. We recommend using a glass or plastic insert for fresh flowers to ensure the longevity of the cement piece.
4. Food Saftey
Unless explicitly marked as "Food Safe" in the product description, our cement objects are meant for decorative purposes and dry goods only. Direct contact with wet or oily foods should be avoided.
5. Durability & Wear
Cement is a durable material, but it can chip or break if dropped on a hard surface. Handle your items with care. Over time, you may notice a natural patina developing on the surface—this is a normal characteristic of the material and adds to the unique beauty of each handmade piece.
